      Job Summary:

The Sales Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and follow-up of a sales plan that will create opportunities for the proliferation of the company’s products and services to commercial airline operators.

      Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate successful customer relationships that focus on mutual benefit, maximize the partnership potential, and drive to consistently meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for each appointed customer, and be a customer advocate for them within the organization
  • Visit customers on a regular basis
  • Develop well-organized, informative proposals in response to customer requests.  Solicit and coordinate other internal resources when needed or desired
  • Develop and present detailed product and system presentations
  • Manage product/services mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims
  • Forecast product requirements for each customer on a monthly basis
  • Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships
  • Lead customer contract negotiations and coordinate other internal resources as necessary
  • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information
  • Attend trade shows and seminars, demonstrate products, articulate competitive benefits of company products and services
  • Seek out new sales and growth opportunities for the company
  • Represent the company during negotiations and offsite sales meetings and advise management of outcome and next steps

      Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 5+years of experience working in a similar role
  • IFE Sales or Marketing experience
  • Good understanding of the IFE competitive landscape, products and systems
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
